But under the digital facade is a deadly weapon, one that is capable of firing .22 calibre bullets. Underneath this seemingly harmless cellphone is a pistol. It is the first of its kind, it's the cell gunphone. With the help of the keypads this assault weapon is capable of firing 4 rounds in quick succession and the bullets fire through the antenna pressing the numbers five to eight. These new covert guns were first discovered in October when Dutch police stumbled on a cache during a drug raid in Amsterdam. This gagdet is beginning to change the rules of engagement all over Europe and has made security personell more careful such they have to X-ray all in public places such as airports and also engage in more stricter security measures. As a result of this development Cell phone users in the U.S. have been alerted that reachiing for their phones in some circumstances could be misinterpreted as a threat on security authorities.

/>
Technorati Tags: guns, <a onclick="javascript:urchinTracker('/outbound/technorati.com');" href="http://technorati.com/tag/cell phones"rel="tag">cell phones

Relax and forget about earphones with the iChair

Every where you turn there is a new iPod accessory and now its the iChair. For just $35 you could go for a drink and before you hit the road just blow into the pen for a few seconds. If it shows green go ahead and drive home, but if it shows red you may have to call a taxi because if you dont the cops will definitely get you. Its also hepls you test the UV rays in the air so you can decide whether to wear your sunscreen. Its a pretty easy way to keep your head out of trouble, dont you think?

via gadget review

Please welcome Thomas Pink's iPOD tie

The ipod has suddenly turned from just another gizmo to a cultural icon and recently a fashion statement. check out this new tie from Thomas Pink with a pocket at the back to hold an iPOD nano. Well you dont have to look too far any more because NEC's latest music and movie player takes the cake. Preferring not to spray the device metallic pink, the technique favoured for other female-friendly toys, the company has instead styled the 30GB hard drive-based VoToL PK-MV300 after a perfume bottle.
Talk about gadgets being trendy this is it. Its the ultimate integration, its when fashion meets gadgets, its a whole new experience
The VoToL sports a 2.7in, 320 x 240, 65,536-colour display on side and the player's name on the other. What might be taken for the bottle's cap is the main control, ready to activate selected MPEG 2, MPEG 4 and WMV 9 videos, and MP3, AAC, Ogg, WAV and WMA DRM audio tracks. NEC has built in an SD card slot to allow images taken on digital cameras to be copied across the VoToL's hard drive - the player will show JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP images, and can text files too.
NEC said the new device sports an aqueous user interface - a "liquid GUI" that represents the player's volume , battery charge and other settings with a water-level visual accompanied by watery gurgling and plopping sounds. Also, NEC claims that the188g player has 4 hours video play back. This gadget is definitely the bomb and its pitched right at the young folk.NEC says the product will ship into Japan in March for¥39,900 (£194/$339).
via reghardware

The missing link between PDA's and regular PC's

Panasonic Computer Solutions Company is introducing a durable computing device specifically designed to support e-health initiatives, improve clinical care and enhance business performance.
This product fills the void in the 1 kg product range. Its about time the ipod followed XM and Sirius in the car business. This is so important because the automobile industry is not quick to change propriety technology once they commit to it. Hence, the first MP3 maker to penetrate this market will enjoy propriety for a long time coming.

Think about it! An ipod car?! Not just integrating the ipod technology with some sound system but actually the sound system actually designed and built by ipod with the ipod logo on the dashboard.

Does Apple have a prototype already or are they still thinking of a design? I dont really know but if i know the man Steve Jobs as well i think i do, then you'll agree that he probably is cooking something right now and very soon, the ipod car will be served.

Technorati Tags: ipod, car ipod

Strap on your iPOD and be prepared

Arm yourself with the ultimate workout companion: iPod nano Armbands.
